Regional Wetland Monitoring & Development
Wetlands play crucial role in
the environment, with multiple roles such as source of potable water, habitat
for fisheries and aquaculture and protection from floods. Conservation of large
wetlands often gets the attention of district, state or national agencies,
whereas the small wetlands (< 5 acres) doesn't get adequate support. As a
NGO focused on grass root level ecological management, the FERI trust is
focused on development and enhancement of regional level small wetlands.
Our group of Environmental
Researchers and Scientists have the expertise in regional small wetland restoration and to undertake wetland associated
projects.
